Day 1 - Arusha National Park

After breakfast at 8:00 AM, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Arusha National Park, located just 30 km from Arusha and 75 km from Moshi. This peaceful park is known for its diverse landscapes, featuring jungle paths, green fields, crystal-clear lakes, and rushing rivers.

The park’s key highlights include Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak, the Momela Lakes, home to wildlife like zebras and giraffes, and the Ngurdoto Crater, an ancient volcanic caldera. During your visit, you’ll enjoy a morning game drive, followed by a picnic lunch, and an afternoon safari, where you can spot wildlife such as buffalo, elephants, and blue monkeys, with a chance to see rare leopards or hyenas. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with species like the Narina and bar-tailed trogon. Day 2: Arusha National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, it’s best to leave the hotel as early as possible to catch sight of the variety of animals that are most active during the morning hours. Breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes for this purpose. At 6:30 AM, you’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after about an hour, you’ll be inside the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Supported by a year-round water supply and abundant fodder, the crater is a haven for diverse wildlife.

Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania’s most famous and captivating national parks, boasting a wide range of animal species, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.
